Frank, if you are serious about not doing the Goony Saki Bomb, I will proceed with one…:)

The original concept drawing looks a lot better than the Semroc Saki Bomb kit version.

I have been digging up some parts.
 
Tom, go for it, I'm not as enamoured personally with the Saki Bomb to build one myself but I look forward to your interpretation!

It will no doubt be about the same size as your V1/2, in order to get decent flight performance. A different tail group will most of the difference.
