Beautifully done overview.

Optimistic total cost of the first 8 Artemis missions: $69.1 billion. That would pay the total costs of 28 Mars 2020 lander missions including years of operation on Mars. Also, although it would be impossible to calculate accurately, the Apollo program required the development of a huge number of radically new technologies that were highly beneficial outside of spaceflight, but Artemis is using off the shelf technology as much as possible to save costs.

I just find it hysterical they used the same name as the lunar lander that Zod and the other evil Kryptonians destroyed at the beginning of Superman II.
