I got in a hurry and forgot the ejection charge. Turned my Aerotech mustang into a lawn dart. Fin can is good and solid. The front part of the motor tube was slightly damaged. I bought a coupler, new body tube, and nose cone. Originally I thought I could take fins off and use a new slotted tube. Now I realize the coupler is the way to go.
My question:
Do I use the full length slotted tube with the coupler under it a have a longer rocket or cut the tube and have the original length rocket. Also I can glue the baffle back on with the steel scrubby inside or just leave the motor tube open and use a chute protector.

Any thoughts.
