Parachute/Streamer Duration Gallery

My drifter is a BMS clone. I built it for one of my club's informal contests and, as usual did not place. That was OK since I am not too competitive in that regard.

I don't remember where I got the idea for the paint scheme but I think it was an old facecard. The decals came from Gordon at Excelsior.

My Starfire is a Semroc clone. I built it for an informal parachute duration contest held by my club. On its first flight, which was not part of the competition, it caught a thermal and I wondered if it would ever come down. I know I was going to win!

When the contest came, it was a completely different story. It came down like a rock. Actually, it was not too bad, it wasn't too good either.

I used a purple and black scheme along with the white and call mine the Grapefire.
