Tripoli Indiana's "Thunderstruck" regional launch event this weekend was a smashing success. Here's a few of my pics.

From Saturday:

Thanks to all who attended, and for those who didn't... you missed out!

Great pics Dave. That N-10,000 is pretty ridiculous. I'm looking forward to Red Glare for the N-10,000 drag race.

Great pictures. That N10,000 is ridiculous - I love the size of the flame on that thing.

David,

Great pics! Thank you for sharing!

I'm looking forward to Red Glare for the N-10,000 drag race.

I'm not since the N-10,000 was spewing fragmented grains all over the Indiana field. IMO, that fragmented hot-mess X3 will not be a good thing. I hope those 10K's hold together at Red Glare.

Justin

Hey, nice video, 'cept for that guy on the left in that last pic, yech

Jeroen's recommendation on the N10K was "more glue": https://www.rocketryplanet.com/forums/showpost.php?p=158203&postcount=75 fingers crossed that they hold together next weekend. Unfortunately I can't pack a fire extinguisher in my carry-on, just in case...

Regardless, now I'm stoked for the Rockets Mag video to come out from ThunderStruck. I had a great time and, even better, I'm getting a new nose this week; the old one has just about peeled off completely from the sunburn...

No probs dude. All the new CTI stuff was AWESOME, I was especially taken by the M3100WT we used in the Purdue rocket -- that 5-grain 76mm motor picked the 70 lb 8" airframe up and sent it to 4200' *really* fast and straight. Loud, too. Great work by the whole CTI team.

I know AT Metalstorm motors were sold on site, but I don't think any of them flew. Can't wait to see those at Red Glare next week.

And Jenny's rocket looked FABULOUS. Nice job on the vinyl!

The new CTI stuff is great, that's for sure. As for 75mm, I still have to say that the most impressive motor that I've yet seen for 75mm rockets is the CTI M1300 Imax Dual Thrust. I liked it so much the first time that I've ordered another for LDRS.
