Been RESEARCHING with some homebrewed igniters lately and have gotten to a consistent point. Attached below, hopefully, is a zipped file of a video I made of a test firing of one of them. The tested igniter is of the size that would easily fit into an E reload. If anyone has any opinions as to whether they look as though they produce sufficient flame to ignite properly, please let me hear them.

Thanks

it seems kind of fast, but other than that it looks about right for an E load.

OK, that's just what I was wondering about. Approximately what kind of burn time should I be shooting for? Any ideas?

The magnelite igniters I've made (dipped) produce the ball of flame for about 1 full second. I've used them on everything from Cs to Ks and never (yes, never) had one fail to light.

OK, I am certain that the flame lasts at least that long. A may make some adjustments that should extend the burn time a little and run some more tests.

Thanks for the input!

All opinions are welcomed!
