I've been looking around for an Altimeter that is small, and reliable. This is so that I can modify an existing rocket to have a hatch by the fins to house an altimeter, to log altitude.

I am using a 3" airframe and a 29mm motor mount.

I have been looking at the Perfectflite Alt15K/WD, as it just logs the altitude and doesn't do deployment. But Im sure there was a smaller one! Can anyone help me out?

Cheers,
Karl

When you say log altitude do you mean a recording altimeter or one to give you the peak reading? If you just need the peak reading (and deployment) the smallest I have seen is the Transolve P7.

Thank you, dixontj93060.

I am just after an Altimeter that gives out a altitude reading at the end of the flight. Or produces a altitude vs. time curve graph.

Cheers,
Karl

Wow, that is rather small.

Look at the picture gallery. He's got it mounted in a mosquito!

Plus he's got 2 timers and a dual-deploy altimeter in his 18mm Comanche 3.
