OK its time to finish the altbay for the Miranda. I am using a perfectflite MAWD. the alt bay is inside a 3" PML CT that is 5" long. What size of vent hole do I need to make and better what would make a good safety switch to arm the alt before the flight?

Here is the AltBay.

VCT says 3 holes at .059. I'm sure this will work fine for you. Since a drill bit at .059 might not be handy then I'd go with three holes at .0625 or 1/16" OD.

Space the holes at 120 degrees.

I have used VCT for all of my e-bays and have never had one fail yet.

For a switch I like the Missile Works switches (or equal).

3 holes at 1/16" each would be MINIMUM.

If it were my rocket, I would most definitely make one of the holes bigger (probably 1/8") so I could more easily put the power switch wires out the side for easy access and twisting together to arm the altimeter. If you're using a switch, that might not be necessary, but then I don't use switches.

Also, if your paint constricts the holes finished OD, that should be considered.
