BTW, there is one huge advantage of the Jr L1. Once you turn 18, you can focus exclusively on your L2, and not have to worry about L1 - it's already in the bag and secure.

It is, and it isn't like L1 is that difficult. Still, I'm focusing all my current rocket effort (not to mention funds :cry: ) on my L2 rocket, which will go up quite soon after I turn 18 next week. Probably the March or April launch (it isn't quite ready yet - still waiting on some electronics and a few components). Even though I've flown a LOT of L1 class rockets and had great success, I would hate to have to delay my L2 because I cracked a fin on an unlucky landing on my L1.
