Alright, I screwed something up. :(
Again. :( :(
I downloaded the motor files from Loki Research and tried to load them into RS.
They're not there, but now when I go to choose motors, some are listed 3 or 4 or more times.
What did I do?
I guess I just was not meant to work with motor files and RockSim.
Oye, these computer things are gonna be the death of me.
And I still don't have the Estes motors from way back....

Greg

Have you successfully loaded engines before?

Assuming you saved them in the 'data' part of RockSim you then have to open the Engine Compiler program. Click on the "add all' button which moves all of the data to the right hand box. Then click on the 'compile' button just below.

Then open RockSim itself - go to 'file' (upper left drop down menu) and to 'reload engine data.' Your new motor selection should be there.

If not - beats me.

I guess I've never done it right.
Thanks, that does it in RS7.
RS8 seems to be telling me that I have to enter burn times and whatnot.
ARGH!

Greg

Enter the burn time on all of the motors? Or just the new ones you added?

Maybe you could try the engine editor program to make the necessary additions.
