I am working on a rocket that will fly single deploy to a max altitude of 5700'. I was thinking that a 20-25FPS descent rate would work well so that I can find it. The business end will have a slimline tail cone retainer, G10 fins and body tubes. What do you guys think would be a good descent rate?

I think that as long as it is built well, 25fps should be fine.

Just as important as the descent rate is.........whats it going to land on?..... sand... sod.....farmland.....brush....drylake bed....etc...the harder the surface the slower the drop.....adjust your calculations accordingly..
