    Using The Yard Sale

Items that are aerospace-oriented (rocketry, R/C, control-line, etc) are acceptable for listing in this area. It is strongly encouraged that pictures be included when posting items for sale.

This is a change over the previous policy.

Effective today, the software will require that all threads have a prefix of "[For Sale]" or "[Wanted]" to reflect which category the listing is in.

After you've sold your items, please remember to go back and edit the thread to indicate the items are Sold. To do this, go to your initial post and click the "Edit Post" link. Then, under the editor box that pops up, click "Go Advanced" to get to the prefix options. Change your prefix to "Sold", save your changes, and you're done.

Yet another reminder that posting replies along the lines of "You can buy it from XYZ for less" is tacky, as is discouraging people from buying the item. If you don't have an interest in what's being sold, then please, stay out of the thread.

Thank you for making that clear.
I also have been the receiver of comments why I should sell to a "builder" not a "reseller". I do not care what they do with it. The fact is someone eventually will build it, who cares when?

Also, ask that when the items are SOLD, update the prefixs to SOLD!
    Makes searching easier for all.

Is there anyway to give "For Sale" items priority over things that have been sold?

Yes, either push the "FOR SALES" up in the list, prioritize by Status then by date.
Possibly archive "SOLD" listings after 30 days or delete them?
