I'm looking an explaination (or website) about nosecone terms and the ratios.... ie ogive; conical; 4:1;5:1; etc........

If you have or can get the free version of RocSim, it is easy to see the difference as you switch between shapes based on the same measurements.

I have reviewed both sites, thanks!!

Now, the only roblem I have is:

"MY BRAIN HURTS!!"

Have you downloaded NTSHAPE from the TripoliSc web site?
It's a DOS program that lets you vary the parameters for nose cones and transitions and then print out a table of diameters vs position along the part for progarmming a CNC or making a template.
