I recently bought an airbrush from Walmart and wanted to see if I could do a better job with it than a can. I have lot of colors to use from my son's plastic models, but I'm unable to find a primer to use.
I there a brand that I should look for or should I use a can for this step.
I think that I just answered my question. Would'nt the filler in the primer clog the air brush? The air brush is the Testor brand that uses a can as the pressure.

Thaks in advance.
Paul.

Paul,

Personally, I'd stick with the primer in the can. There really isn't a need to waste a can of CO2 on a primer coat. Afterall, you're going to sand it to a smooth finish. And, if you use good brand of primer then spraying from a can is fine.

I don't really use my airbrush unless I'm adding detailing to a model. Like stripes, camo, weathering, etc... For large overall coats I use a can.

Regards,
Todd
