um i had luck using a hack saw, a extra pair of hands, and somesand paper, basicly just get someone else or somthing to hold it and go slow and cut it with a fine tooth hacksaw then sand the burrs off. or if you can a table saw or somthing like that

I was really skeptical myself on cutting my first quantum tube and reluctantly went against my better judgement and use a 10" tablesaw with a 40 tooth carbide tip blade and to my amazement it was smooth as butter and very smooth! Not even a hint of a chance of chipping or breaking the tube.
