I've used Tripod for 4 years now - great service, 20 megs and best of all its free. Though the program is no longer available - Trellix Web Design is all I use for my websites WYSIWYG design - no hand coding at all - AND Tripod has an online version for creating your own site.

My version of Trellix Web is registered for use with any website - so I can easily upload a full site in a moment to another server - if need be.

By the way... ;ike most free sites - Tripod has pop-ups, so if you decide to have an account with them, be sure to have a note on your home page - or page that gets the most traffic that says somthing to the effect of :

NOTE : Tripod uses pop-up banners on this site, to alleviate the problem of continuously seeing them when switching pages, simply MINIMIZE the pop-up ( instead of closing it ), and you'll not see any more for the rest of your visit.

I use Netfirms. They support FrontPage extensions, give you 25 megs of space, and you only have one banner ad per page. That is for free. You can also eventually upgrade with them to a "full" or "premium" service package with a domain name for cheap (I don't remember how much).
