Eggs in a rocket

On that link, the picture in the very bottom right is my high school's rocket from last years SLI launch. In the middle is our rocket team instructor, Coach Tonn. The rocket unfortunatly CATOed at the SLI launch. The motor fell out of the rocket half way through boost, caught back up with the rocket, zippered it, ignited the black powder used for the low altitude deployment, and exploded. Parts must have been raining down for hours. I wasn't there because I'm a freshmen and just joined rocket team, but I have heard many stories of the launch. I wish we still had the rocket. The paintjob was awesome. They took it to an automotive store and got a custom paint job. Black flames at the top and red the rest of the way down. Anyways, I hope we have better luck this year.
