Alpha III Launch

Another from my recently develpoed roll of film.

My youngest launches my oldest's science fair Garnet and Black (go Gamecocks!) Alpha III.

The oldest was manning the altimeter.

I just won an Alpha III starter set on eBay to complete my Alpha collection. I plan to have both Project Alpha and it's sister project, Project Bertha ready for NARAM in August. I've got the parts for an Alpha (the balsa-nosed, K-25 clone,) an Alpha II (which I have been informed is the plastic coned Alpha available in the Estes Educator,) an Alpha III, and the seldom seen Alpha IV. Pretty exciting stuff, eh? Catalog paint jobs and everything. Project Bertha will be along the same lines with a balsa coned original, a yellow/white/black version, the "That '70's Show" balloon lettered version, and the current black version. Should drive the rocket groupies wild.
