Fiberglass Fillets: Fillets are used on almost all high power rockets, but have you ever wanted to make them stronger and decrease the chance of them cracking? Try This: Buy some Milled Fiberglass; it comes in a small jar and looks like a white powder. I use Bob Violett Models fiberglass mil that you order directly from them, but Hobbytown USA locally also carries it. I tape up my fin area and create a Dam then mix up some epoxy; 15 minute works well. Then I add some mil to the epoxy cup, about 2 mixing stick tips worth, and mix it in. It will turn the epoxy a gray color; at this point you can pour it in the area. You will notice you get less air in your mixture and it sands well.
