Does anyone know the lengths of the motor mount tubes for the LOC Minie Magg, Warlock, and Doorknob?

And does anyone know the lengths of the CTI 29, 38, and 54mm 6-grain cases? How about the shorter cases?

These rockets are all pretty short, so I'm trying to find out the range of cases that will fit into each of these rockets without extending very far beyond the MMT into the body of the rocket.

You could put a motor that extends up into the nose cone if you wanted to, length of the motor tube doesn't matter one bit. Long as it fits under the tip - good to go.

It is on their website.

Google is your friend. If you do not have Rocksim you can also open the .rkt file in OpenRocket (which is free). You can use the files to check the MMT lengths.

Hope this helps.

Mini Magg is 10-12 inches. I think the Warlock may be the same. 29mm 6G case is around 12 inches and goes a bit past the Magg's MMT. 38mm 6G case is around 16 inches, 54mm is 22 inches. I think 6GXL cases for all diameters are a few inches more.

Thanks. I know that the motor can extend beyond the MMT, but I'd still like to know how much these cases will extend if at all. Most rocket mishaps I have had in the past have been due to overstuffed body tubes, so I want to be sure I still have plenty of room. If I'm going to have to fit recovery gear around a motor that extends into the body of the rocket, I'd like to know what I'm dealing with before placing an order.

A real concern on some smaller rockets but on a 7.5" rocket Im sure youl be wondering what to do with all the extra space.

On my 7.5 Inch Thumper and 6" Kraken I use a SkyAngle XL which is a bit oversized and still fits with no problem.
