This build took 6 months and I don't get much satisfaction doing a log for this amount of time. I rolled my tube from card board tubes and maid CF fins. The build was a lot of work. Took a lot of elbow grease to get to the paint stage. The Blue paint is the Richard Petty Blue and the red is the STP red. Now for the pictures.

I also made my own nosecone and tail cone molds. After the clear drys for a couple days I will put on the lettering.

Nice build Bill! Must be nice to have that kind of shop/tools/paint! Gonna go to NEFAR?

Hi Tim. Yes I think we are going to nefar. If not I will most likely go over to plant city the weekend after.

I'd like to go to one or the other but not sure of my work schedule. Anyhow, nice looking rocket! Is that modeled after the ones Giant Leap sells?

Picked up my chrome lettering today from a local shop. I'm looking forward to getting a launch picture at nefar in a few weeks.

I use thin line tape and just start drawing out flames from my head buy hand. I've been doing this type of paint work for a long time on motorcycle and cars. On these rockets I don't spend a lot of time doing it. Never know if you know what I mean.

It arced a lot at the top so lost some altitude right around 3200ft. The main came out at apagee so I did have a 1/4 mile walk. Need to tighten the nosecone some more.

Outstanding build and paint! That's something to be very proud of.

Thank you much. It sure did get some attention at the field yesterday. I can't count how many times I had to say thanks.
