NEFAR's Bunnell Blast is coming soon! It's a bit early to check the weather forecast, but early November usually brings cool, clear, calm days to Northeast Florida - perfect for a weekend of rocketry.
I've got my "YouBee" (an upscale of the Odd'l Rocket's Break Away) almost ready to fly. I've flown it a few times on K motors including a launch at last year's Bunnell Blast. This year, I plan to use an L motor which will allow it to reach close to 4000 feet ... and "wacky wiggle" as it falls over one-thousand feet before the main 'chute deploys. Okay, I have to admit I got a little bit of a nervous feeling just typing that.
Anyone else prepping for the Blast?
