Hey guys

Does anyone know how to cancel an nar account? I would like to join tra instead but dont want to have both at the same time. Can i get my money back? Or do i have to pay a fee to cancel it?

I don't know that you can cancel and get your money back. I think you are just done when it expires but I could be wrong. I believe you will hold both until the NAR one expires.
 
David, If you want to get your Jr. L1 at MMMSC, you will need to be a NAR member. We don't have any Tripoli clubs near us. I am both personally...
 
There is no direct equivalent to the NAR Jr L1 in TRA. Keep in mind that from a legal / regulatory POV Jr. L1 means nothing and the TRA trainee status (for lack of a better word) is just as functionless. These are just nifty merit badges that look cool in your TRF signature.

That's where I think you are wrong. I wouldn't call them "functionless". In TRA, having the TMP allows you into the HPR area.

You could do that before when escorted by a senior flyer. Not sure anything has changed. You still need an adult flyer to purchase/handle/fly the HPR motors.

In TRA, it also lets you participate in Research flights. Without TMP, that's a no-go.
