Still no signs of my SS gift but I believe the vendor he used (no, it wasn't one of the vendors here on TRF ) is the one at fault.

    So we'll see what happens.

    Who was my Santa?

My Secret Santa gave me a couple of really nice built rockets ( and a couple of kits!) These will be used in my Space Exploration classroom.

I like to make plaques to recognize donors, so who are you?!

Also, what are the kit names?

    Thanks!

Thanks, It's me. The built rockets are scratch. The little one base loosely on
the Bulldog. I just call all my scratches 'Fred'.

Thanks to my SS for the Goonies! Just what I asked for.

My Secret Santa got me a pack of B6-4's and a pair of model rockets. The first is an Estes Sky Writer, which evidently is supposed to look like a pencil, but is basically a Generic E2x with a conical nose cone. That'll be a bit interesting, but it made me think maybe my SS misread my wish list, which listed the Skywinder, possibly the coolest helicopter-recovery rocket ever... but I'm not one to be ungrateful so I think this one will still be fun!

The other kit is a Miniroc Asp-1. The Asp is a cool rocket, and this will be my first Miniroc. I'm assuming the recommended MPC Minijet engines (1/2A3-3m, A3-4m, and B3-5m) are interchangeable with 13mm motors.

Unfortunately my Secret Santa gift went to Erik Gates, before his untimely passing. I got him a FlisKits Tres, which would have been awesome as an upscale 3 motor-booster 2-stage rocket. :-(

I am enjoying the Double Helix that I received from my SS, who continues to remain anonymous.

I have one of those. I'm flying it today at CATO. I changed out the chute for a streamer. I'll get a pic or two today. Will also have some pics of my SS.
There is only one thing that is impossible for a Vorlon to understand - How to change the IRQ setting on any DOS computer.

Unfortunately, my camera did NOT want to work today. Too cold, I guess. I got one or 2 pics, and the ASP wasn't one of them. I'll d/l whatever pics I did get later.
