One of our club kids is doing a science fair project on the effect of canted fins on altitude. His mother just ordered 6 Estes Monarchs (7214) and I told her I'd create templates to curve the root edges of the fins to accommodate the cants. Can anyone provide the length of the root edge so I can get ahead of the game? There isn't an RKT file for it on Rocket Reviews, nor have I found one elsewhere. I tried to scale off the instruction sheet but that yielded varying results.

I have one built at home. I'll try to remember to get measurements when I get home this evening.

Monarch's fins are narrower on the trailing edge (standing edge) than Bertha's. Trevor flew, 4 each, 4 different Monarch iterations. Their fin alignment was canted from 0 to 6 degrees in 2 degree increments. He flew on B6-4s for the recorded flights as well as a 17th flight (with a 0 cant Monarch) on a C6-5
