Hi. I used to fly estes rockets with the guys in my neiborhood back in the 70's and decided to try it again.:D I need help finding a simple rocket that can carry a cheap digital camera [need that too, lol]is there a estes model that will do the job? thx

hey scott.I don't have either yet.something in the 16-20 in range for the rocket and a cheap small digital camera.I'm on a tight budget too.

Welcome back to the hobby Dale. Alot of folks here use a keychain camera taped to the outside of the airframe. Here is a link to Amazon but you can probably find these locally as well.

Those cameras are light enough to work on many different rockets; I'll just throw out the Estes Magician for you consideration: https://www.estesrockets.com/rockets/by-engine/c11-and-d/002440-magiciantm

Check your nearest Hobby Lobby for this or similar Estes rockets; their 40% off coupon is always available from their web page.

Big Bertha with a 24x95mm motor mount. Can fly on A thru E motors. (No camera with an A motor.)

A forum member here (Landru) sells a mount for the very popular 808 #16 keychain cam. I can't vouch for the mount (I don't have one), but my other orders from him are first rate.
