I'm building a Dynacom Pluto clone and have a fin template but don't have the dimensional drawing. Would appreciate any info that is available.
Thanks

Did you ever build the Dynacom Pluto? If so do you have a picture?I'm building a Dynacom Pluto clone and have a fin template but don't have the dimensional drawing. Would appreciate any info that is available.

Justin I did find the specs on the Dynacom Aggressor. It was 5"dia. A much shorter nose cone than the Anaconda. The cone was 3.23. Total length was 105"Aggressor was a Performance Rocketry kit if I recall correctly, not one of Eric's kits.
What dia. Was the Pluto?I acquired an old Dynacom Pluto kit a few years ago. In 2017 I launched it on a research O motor. Unfortunately, it catoed on the pad and burned to ashes. Here is a pre-launch pic.
Thanks so muchIn case you are interested in a bit of history concerning the Pluto and Karl Bauman's design and work with it, Aeropac did a write up. https://aeropac.org/Newsletters/Spring 2016 AEROPAC Newsletter.pdf
Scroll down about half way. Project ARGUE

It is, and its all connected. The booster is laying down already, look to the left of the chute/nose cone. That always was straight flying rocket. I hope the chute at video end was not from the Anaconda?
I will have to look closer. It is, and its all connected. The booster is laying down already, look to the left of the chute/nose cone.
Seems David has logged at least 3 flights on the bird since it made its way from WI/IL to the West coast.

Thank you for the share.Err . . . That would be Project "ARQUE", not "ARGUE" . . . LOL !

JustinThank you for the share.
So it seems the 6 Plutos wade was a custom run, not a production kit.
Impressive club newsletter too!
Do you remember the length of the kit?
Thanks

I did find specs on the Aggressor its says 105" it used a shorter nose cone than did other Dyacom kits. Do you have any plans of rebuilding the Pluto?I can't recall the length of the Pluto. The Aggressor looks like it may match although I'm not sure if the fins are exactly the same and the nose cone seems shorter. I still have the upper section with the nose cone which was blown clear when it catoed. As was mentioned earlier, the diameter is larger than the standard today at 4.125" .
Message sent to youThat's a good question. I have the upper half of the rocket. Finding airframe tubing the right size could be a problem.
