Does anyone know if the Aerotech K1050 reload and the Aerotech 54/2800 case are readily available anywhere?
Has anyone flown this motor?
Does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions for alternatives with equal total impulse/ave. thrust that are also readily available?
I know there is a new Aerotech K1000 DMS, has anyone flown that?

In my experience, they list when anything is out of stock... I imagine they're stocking both of these. a call or email could verify.

Alternates that would be available regularly would be the Loki 54/2800 and L1400

Wildman has several big old 54mm CTI loads and cases -

I have flown 2 of these in the last 3 months, I got them from Robert at Buymotors.com. They lit quick large flame and great smoke trail. Performance was the same on both motors, about 12% less altitude than rocsim predicted. I have also flown the same 5.5 inch 36 lbs. Madcow Pike on a K1275 and get better than predicted altitude. I only had about 200 feet difference between the K1050 and a K1275 for the 54mm/2560 case.

I flew one in 2007 in Vegas....... made me very mad.LOL I was trying to break 10,000 ft.

My Competitor 4 went 9,999 ft. oh but for that last foot!

Great motor, Wildman had the reload a week ago...[saw it in the trailer]. Don't know about the case.

How bad/fast do you want a (complete new or just the) case? Sorry can't ship the reload.

Turn around time from Aerotech on the big reloads and hardware has typically been only 1 to 2 weeks, I've bought a number of these for various customers.

If it were me, I would go with the L1000. It's roughly equivalent to the K1050 and no need to invest in the hardware. I sold out of these over the weekend, but more are due any day.

With the L1000 at/near the same price, and only ONE reload available for the 54/2800 case, the choice is simple for me--give me the single use L.

What about the Gorilla Motor Works 54/2550 case and K1075RT or K1185KT loads. They are about the same average thrust and at or over the same total Ns. They also have the K980BL and long burn K470WC loads for that case.
