According to MissileWorks, RRC2+ is best powered by 9V but can work on as little as 3.5V. I use rechargable lithium "9V" batteries with mine. They are about 8.4V fully charged, hold a charge for a long time, and are about 25% lighter than an alkaline 9V and fit in the same space. I've left the altimeter turned on and beeping for over an hour after a DD flight and voltage dropped less than .1V.

If the altimeter can work as low as 3.5 v and the lipos have a max of 3.7 v I would say no

The Smart Sled is specifically designed the 400ma Li-Ion cell you URL'd above.

All those other batteries would work, but you'll have fitment issues in the SMART Sled
The battery slot accommodates a 5mm x 25mm x 35mm form factor.
None of the other batteries would fit.

Thanks Jim,,

I tried to call you today about it but the answeing machine was giving out a message to acspecific party.
I have a couple other questions so I will try again tomorrow.

OK Jim,,

I'll get my questions to you later.

Sparkfun just got thru moving to their new location so it will be awhile before they catch up with orders.
