Well over a year ago I posted a photo of my kitbashed Mega Der Max, converted to fly as a two stage model with a traditional Red Max sustainer mounted in the nose cone. If you missed it, here's a link to the photo:

Having built far too many Bumper WAC models in the past, it was inevitable that this model became the Bumper Max, complete with White Sands-style paint and markings. The beastie finally flew today, and I whipped up a quick video to share. The booster was powered by an Aerotech G79-4, staging to an Estes B6-2 in the sustainer. Staging was done via a PerfectFlite MiniTimer4, mounted on a spiffy little laser-cut electronics sled mounted in the base of the booster nose cone.
