There is a chance of thunderstorms overnight Thursday and early on Friday. We may get a few popup t-storms off-and-on all weekend.
Thursday Update - There has been minimal rain at the launch site by 1PM and the significant cells have passed to the north of us. We will plan on setting up the launch system, tents, etc. as planned starting around 3PM.
If it rains a lot, please access the Rocket Pasture via Eden Rd. from the highway to the south (K-44), then over just the last 1/4 mile on 80th. These roads are the most passable when wet.
Nearly all the roads immediately around the launch site are unimproved dirt, and I mean dirt, roads. They get muddy quickly. If it has been raining, don't even tempt fate because you will get stuck. If you have 4-wheel drive, stay off anyway. You will tear up the roads and make the township road guy grouchy.
Thanks, --Lance.
