Ever make an embarrassing mistake while building?

I could commit as many crimes as I wanted and not get caught because I no longer have finger prints from all the times I've burned them on a soldering iron.

I've only done that once. Learned my lesson :)
 
The worst thing I've done so far would be making the centering rings on my L1/L2 rocket crooked. I didn't think to use the retainer as a square for the aft ring. As for the forward ring, I could've made a jig that would square both at the same time. Now that they're in however, you can't tell they are crooked.

I'm sure I will have worse as I make more HPR rockets...
