Hey guys,
Any of you have experience with acme fin cans? My birthday is coming up so I will finally get the money to build a rocket for my l1 cert. Thanks in advanced.

Yes worked great. Only suggestion I have is to go minimum diameter, that was my mistake. Fin can very durable.

If you need one PM me I have a 54 and a 38 I don't see using in the near future.

They are a little heavy, but tough as hell. I still have a 54 mm one in the parts pile that I should build with as a rocket like this goes together in no time. Maybe for a 54mm minimum diameter on an I65.

Hi Little Mister Big,,,,
Check these,,,,

The rocket is a scratch built and is named Altitude Seeker...
It's all fiberglass,, so it's super tough,, but it comes with a bit of an apology for it's weight,, heavy for it's size....
On this flight it was about 11 lbs on the pad,, all up......
This flight-----
Aerotech 54 / 2560 K 480 W 2273 Ns in a 4 1/4 second burn.........
12,126 Ft.

Used 1 once on a min. dia. K-250-20 about 20 yrs ago when they first came out 1 fin can, 1 loc tube, 1 nose cose, tiny parachute. flew good until no motor ejection. Fin can didnt like coming in ballistic from about 18000 ft
