Just built a new pad. Tilts down in opposite directions for loading. Just waiting to get some 10S rail.

I like it, low CG pads are my favorite pads to launch from. How heavy did the project turn out? Looking forward to seeing how the rail gets mount.

Pretty neat design. Low pads rarely tip but can be hard on old knees.

Pad weighs around 8 pounds. If I wanted to make it taller, I'd weld (or hinge) another piece of box tubing at the end of the legs at about 45 degrees.

That's why you take a rocket buddy out to the pad with you to hold it 4 feet up on the rod or rail while you insert the igniter and attach the clips before lowering. :)

Nice fab job Tonimus.

Finally got some 1010 rail mounted to it. It has a drill chuck for 1/2" and smaller rods as well.
