I have a simulation file for a Thunder and Lightning I obtained from PML. I want to fly just the sustainer and as such tried to delete the components that make up the booster. Even though all the components are gone, there is a flag in the components tag indicating the booster is still there. Now when I try to prep for flight, the simulation responds ther must be a motor mount in each stage. Ok that makes sense if there is more than one stage. However, I don't eant that stage!

Any ideas on how to remove all traces of the former booster?

I managed a a work-around by inserting the motor in the details pane for the sustainer MMT.

File attached for your amusement.

Under "rocket design attributes"for that particular file....have you changed the "number of stages" from 'two stage rocket' to 'single stage rocket' ?

You could always load a micromax motor in the booster.......

The booster will remain to haunt Bill forever. I just want to fly the sustainer as a standalone in Durham.

Need to look at that attribute as mentioned. (edit - yup, that did it)
