Defect in centering ring....

See the photos.... there is an air bubble in one of the centering rings.

Would you insist on a replacement from the kit manufacturer?

Probably not. what size, do you plan on using warp 9 motors. Is that low power fiber or a fiberglass. Thru wall fins will sandwich between centering rings not super structural mainly to center motor mount.

Keep in mind, this is for a 98mm motor tube. It's going to launch decent sized M motors.

Even with warp nine, centering rings are little more than spacers. All the thrust should be on the fin tabs and into the airframe. Aside from containing an ejection charge, you don't even need them.

It should actually be split between the two, but if that's glass or carbon then there's likely no problem anyway. If you're really worried you can fill it with a chopped carbon epoxy blend.
 
It will be fine, but if you're concerned, get another. The last thing you need is that niggling doubt in your mind every time you launch.
 
Ok, based on the feedback here, and from the manufacturer.... just going to inject some epoxy and move on. Thank you for the replies!
