Hi,

Search as I might I've not been able to find the origin of the cover art for the Quest Terrier Orion Kit.

I was wondering if anyone out there might know where the color scheme came from? Is it based on a real life example?

I wasn't able to find such a scheme. This looks like a standard Nike-type color scheme, which was never used on rockets of the Terrier-Orion's vintage. At best, the kit is semi-scale anyway.
 
It's latest scheme and the Hy-V—which is very close. The decals in the kit don't go all the way around the body tube. Too short. You'd think they'd fix that.
