Thanks Dave, Airfest is going to be the shakedown run for this rig. Talk about jumping in the deep end! We definitely have the running water part down, with a 100 gallon water tank and an outside shower. I'm thinking we will set up a casing cleaning station here:Wow... Need to get one of those for my "there has to be running water if I'm going" wife. Oh, and good luck at Airfest.

Does the Jeep fit ?
Also Wayco Fyrwrxz Exactimator CaveDuck and I , made a pact at ROCstock that if we attended a launch together we would continue to bunk up together - so WE are looking forward to the new condo too.
Congrats..dont forget to add a flag holder !

No way I'm putting up with Wayne's snoring.......Funny guy! "Does the Jeep fit?" The Jeep with all it's armor and custom roll cage weighs about as much as this trailer does. No way would it ever fit in this trailer. We do have plans to find a small tandem quad that would work for recovery, but that's after we recover from this MAJOR EXPENSE. It was a good deal though, so maybe next year we can find something that will fit.
I don't remember the "pact", but we could fit a couple of extra bodies in if all the rockets had somewhere else to stay. Good luck negotiating with Sharon.
It could still be part of "tent city". There were several Plaster Blaster launches that my tent would not have survived without an RV wind break! Is the new rig going to be able to get into the Eagle Eye site?
Just got in some food for the hawk:
Took advantage of the Bay Area Rocketry L-3 special, an AT M1297 and the Rouse Tech 75/5120 complete casing with closures.
This is the last big piece I needed for my L-3 cert. attempt at Airfest in TWO WEEKS! :y:

Just thought I would put a proper finish to this thread, the "Red Tailed Extreme" made it's first flight at Airfest on an M1297 White Thunder load. Flying to 13,124 ft. for a new personal best altitude and landing 1.5 miles away, it was recovered using the Eggfinder GPS and an Android running the "Rocket Locator" app.
For more info. on our trip, check out my latest thread "Reflections on Airfest XX":

How much did it weigh?
I flew mine on a Kosdon M 2240 that did 13,091 ft
That would be White Lightning
CTI makes White Thunder.
JD
Mine weighed 16.2 lbs. 26.5 lbs with motor. Thanks for the correction, I'm always getting those two mixed up. That and Redline/Red lighting.
Did yours have the tailcone?
