I'm curious if anyone has an easy way to seal avionics bays. I generally have the tray mounted on two "through" rods and the top bulkhead is removed to slide the sled out. The bottom bulkhead is glued and sealed. Basically, I have a loose bulkhead inside of a coupler that I remove and reinstall. Thanks for any ideas.

You need a lip/ledge somewhere; either a stepped bulkhead or a ledge inside the coupler to seal against. Some people do more, but generally any double right angle path is enough to keep gases out. Look at instructions/assembly drawings on the LOC-Precision or Binder Design sites to see what I'm talking about.

Thank you! That's pretty much what I had envisioned, but sometimes my designs don't work as I imagined they would..I appreciate your reply...
