Rocketry language

I have noticed that rocketeers love their acronyms and code words. It took me a while to decipher some of them when I first joined the forum. I'd like to put them in one place to direct those who don't speak the rocketry language, as a reference to translate some of the posts.

Examples

NC : nose cone

MMT: motor mount

FC: fin can

DD: dual deploy

RSO: Range Safety Officer

LCO: Launch Control Officer

GSE: Ground Support Equipment (often referred to when dealing with hybrid motors)

LPR, MPR, HPR _ low-, mid-, and high-power rocketry, respectively
BT - body tube
OR - OpenRocket
RS - RockSim
AV Bay - avionics bay
Ebay - electronics bay (synonymous with AV Bay)

MMT: usually refers to Motor Mount Tube.

TC: Tail Cone

RG: Rail guide

LL: Launch Lug

AP: Ammonium Perchlorate
BP: Black Powder
CP: Centre of Pressure

3FNC: 3 fins, nose cone (and probably a body tube as well, though that didn't make it into the acronym)

Max Q is not Maximum Pressure. It is Maximum Dynamic Pressure.
