QCRS MMWP launch / BBQ May 24-25

You're Invited

Who: All QCRS members and anyone who would like to become a QCRS member.
What: QCRS's annual MMWP launch and BBQ
When: May 24-25 (Memorial Day Weekend) Range opens at 9 am both days.
Where: Princeton, IL. The BBQ will be at the Wildman Hobbies World Headquarters in Van Orin, IL.

Launch details:
Our standing 15,000' waiver will be in effect both days.
We have MILES of farm fields for effortless recovery.
Flight operations will be handled by a Wilson F/X launch system.
Who knows, maybe Tim's new Armageddon switch will be ready?!?

BBQ details:
Free for all QCRS members who are ALSO Wildman Club members.
Wildman Hobbies will be sponsoring this years BBQ.
Food and great hospitality along with pop and water will be provided.
If you would like to bring a dish to pass it would be greatly appreciated.
Adult beverages will be BYOB
Please RSVP here for the BBQ by 5-16

I'll let the people who have been to the MMWP BBQ before fill you in on all the details.

How about IROCs at 30 paces? AT J570's or CTI J520 skids (my preference). This goes against my low n slow profile, but I got a AT 38/1080 virgin case and a 38 6XL virgin case. One of them needs to get christened...

Gus's plans for Sunday so far...
1. Two Stagger "Scooter and, Red-Dog" (The Wildman Extremes joined together) going up on a CTI L-3200 V-max...staging to a CTI L-1111. With onboard video.
2. A Gizmo XL "The Holy {Sheet} Hand Grenade of Antioch" testing its new deployment system on a CTI N-5600 White Thunder. Also with *Astro-Scream* (It's coming our way!:y onboard video.

Lifes too short to fly boring stuff.

My I ROC is in Califonia But if it means Adrian will fly another rocket I might have to figure out a way to get one here...

My upscale Estes Yellow Jacket, for its second flight, on a CTI M-1770 Skidmark

I'd probably be in for the 4" Jart drag.

Why yes. I am feeling a bit saucy...
Launching my IROC last club launch made want to do it again. It hasn't tasted a J since 1998 or 9, mostly I's (I like the I195J in it). So I figure why not air it out a little with the biggest skidmark that'll fit. That's right, I'm puttin on some big boy pants :shock: And a tracker....
