Watched it on Fox up to second stage ignition. Great flight so far.
I was hoping to see a live feed on the stage 1 re-entry.

Me too! I was getting on to post that, haha. I'm sure we'll get to see it...hope it fell within the 30-40% chance of success in a water landing.
Great launch though!!!
There will be a live news conference at 5 PM EDT. I would think that they would say something about the 1st stage recovery then.

Very cool! Thanks for the heads up! I saw your post at T minus 9 mins and clicked the link. Then I had to leave the room for a phone call. I came back in and heard 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.. Just in time to see the liftoff. Very good timing.
I'm curious to hear more about the recovery of the first stage.

Oh, and how about that plume of what I'm guessing is water and exhaust that propagated up the vehicle when it ignited....? COOL. Appeared to make it all sooty looking. Still watching live feed--they are showing replays from several launch trackers.

Watched it with about one minute on the clock. Love Space X! So proud to see such great success from a private company.
ditto...big fan here! They make me wish I was young enough to make an education choice which would lead to working for them...just have to live vicariously through others.
