I just found this outfit that's apparently been around for a while while searching for 3D printed molecule models. They batch print submitted 3D models using a very large powder bed 3D printer:

Their site, searching on the keyword "rocket" with 766 resulting hits:

Anyone else know of other such services to list here?

I know there are a bunch:

staples is looking to over 3d printing service in the future:

this place tries to find the nearest 3d printers in your area. great idea!

Thanks! That MakeXYZ link is very useful. Found multiple places close by. Looks like $0.50 cc is the typical charge around here to print PLA from supplied model. One printer uses this series which I didn't know about or may have seen and forgot about - there are so many...:

Hello,
I'm new here and wanted to share on the topic of Shapeways. The designers have a very nice 1/35 scale Mercury capsule and tower. Very realistic. There are many other items for sale such as the 1/70 Apollo capsule as well as lots of fins. Just check them out

Thanks, Bill

I've used Makexyz before. They're decent, but the delivery/ship times can be variable.

Recently I've been checking out 3Dhubs.com
I like the variability and breadth of their vendor selection and capabilities.
