TLP kit Bash 2.6 diameter Rocket

Having Bashed one kit already for the Skonk Wolf using Shrox plans, here's another TLP
kit I'm going to bash! 2.6" diameter, 24mm motors, probably D12-3's. OAL=26.5" without
a tail cone. I'll probably put a tail cone on it since the TLP kit has one with it.

Something with Wings! It will be similar to one that's been in production a few years now.
Hint: The cut tube goes on the bottom of the rocket, looks like a Jet.

The SU F44 is supposed to be out this Month.

Indeed! We do like a nice Piece of Tail Cone.

Cool idea.

More pics and a little progress.


I used a belt sander for the belly tube cut angles. Sure made it even, instead of
cutting with a saw.

Pre-painted the Belly Tube and the bottom of the Main Body Tube.
Installed Rail Button blocks on the Belly Tube.
Ordered Decals tonight that should make the rocket stand out well! Sharkmouth for the Belly!

That's where the Belly Tube will fasten and cover allot of the Main Body Tube.

Here's the decals I bought last night for the rocket.
I found both of them on Ebay.

Here's the link to the Decal sheet. They are precut. Remove the waist or peel as you need them. Nice Decals!

May use the "Evader" for the name. These are exactly what I wanted for it.
I think the sharkmouth is going to be a good fit too.

Got the wings epoxied in today. Used a dowel to connect the two inside the tube.
All the tail feathers will be through the tube also.

I really hope it flies well. I like the looks of this one too!
I'm thinking about loading an AT E20-4W in it for the first flight!

Should have it painted and ready for decals by next Monday.

Just finished painting, the red was the last color. Now it dries.
I'll probably shoot some clear on it to make the decals stay on better and have
a bit of scuff protection.
