While taking apart my first G motor after flying it for the first time I discovered what looked like a burn thru in the insulating liner. Is this a common thing? Did I do something wrong. ImageUploadedByRocketry Forum1396933168.420323.jpgImageUploadedByRocketry Forum1396933236.726951.jpg
It was a G64-7W using the RMS29/40-120. Second flight of the day after a successful flight on a F40-7W. Flying an Aerotech Initiator(bonus rocket pick included).

Thanks for your help,
Mark

Yup, it happens. No more pictures with snow please, we finally get a few months without it!

Thanks, just wanted to be sure I was going down the right path. That is the river that goes through town, the ice won't break for another 3 weeks or so. It is a nice field to launch from though.

Nothing to worry about, it is just the liner doing its job. Mojave greens run hotter then other formulas and almost always burn thru the liner for me.
