What could be cooler than to do your cert flight at URRF? How about doing it during a Wildman Drag race? :surprised:
How about doing it with a really Cool Rocket?
A small quantity of 4" Wildman Jart have been created for a Drag Race at URRF. How much you ask?? only $125

Will you be one of the lucky ones? Don't miss out!

I am just wondering, why is there a discussion on which motor will fit? You know that the wildman says that the only motor that goes into a Wildman rocket is THE BIGGEST MOTOR THAT FITS.

Well.....a N5800 wouldn't fit. This is a 4" airframe with a 54mm hole. Plus it's a short little thing. For the 54mm CTI line up it looks like you can fit a 5 grain motor in it. A K1200 WT might be a fun race to watch but that puts these little rockets near 10k feet.

IF they are using the Jart Extreme with the 76mm motormount then you could squeeze in a 3 grain 76mm CTI motor if you planned out your AV bay well. The L1350 C* would be another fun drag race launch but again, that sims to 15k feet.

Oh, whoops! i thought these were the 5 inch with a 4 inch hole... :p

I hate all these ads.

I flew mine on a 4 grain White Thunder last weekend at RG. Loaded up it weighed 10.2lbs went 7,775 ft.Landed about 1 mile out.
I could not get a 5 grain in, but mine is the proto with 2in vent band & long coupler.....would like to hear from someone else if the 5 g fits?

So far the 2 grain long burn skid[ 6seconds] was definitely the crowd pleaser, went 2700 something & a 2 grain blue did 3400 something.
Mine weighs 8.1lbs ready to fly sans motor.

I really would like to do the long burn skids again....it's just too kewl! 3of them was a hoot.

8-10 would be fantastic!

Who's playing by the way?

JIm,

With an Aeropack tail cone and about a 1/4" shaved off th aft end of the nose coupler, a 5 grain will fit. I will show you on Saturday at the QCRS launch if you are there.

Got Jimbo Jart?

I've been practicing...... Tim ..... Me.... & Jason doing another Jart drag race. This time on CTI 4 grain white Thunder K-940

Of course Tim cheated at the last minute switching out his motor for a 4 grain V-max k-2045!

I figured he would cheat, so I did too, with a secret sauce igniter!!!!! Got the hole shot on him. I went 7693. Tim went 8028. Jason did 7,000 something.

We did it at ThunderStruck also with the long burn skids. [2-grain 54's]. They all went around 2700 something & burned over 6 seconds.... real crowd pleasers!

This Jart is fast becoming one of my favorite rockets. Easy to build & very easy to fly with the DD av-bay in NC coupler.

So simple to prep a cavemen can do it!

Get yours so you can be in the infamous drag race of "Chaos & mayhem" Call the Wildman... he has some kind of special for this, he just been to busy to put it on his website. Tell him CJ sent ya to get the extra 100% off.....

PS CHEATING of any kind IS allowed!

OK so what DID you do?

A simple altitude will suffice, or have ya been in the candy bag again chasing your tail?

Ya know I been rode hard & put up wet.

PS cheating is allowed, including false altitudes after the fact!!!

8,367 feet per the attached file.

I'm in for the drag race. Got my first test flight in on Saturday at our Berwick field. It was a really windy day so I kept it low. Flew on a CTI I470 WT (4gr 38mm) to 2115 (sim'd to 2500 - wind really must have caused some drag). I'll have to lighter her up a bit before June too. I'm using a heavy sled in the av that I borrowed from another rocket and I had to use heavy 3/8 tubular kevlar cause I was out of the 1/4". Bet I could cut at least 10-12 oz off my heavy 104oz Jart. I've also shortened the AV bay by about 2". This will be a fun launch

:p

Yes maybe not the physically the biggest, they are chockful of N's and WM goodness !

I would add the K1103x Propellant X and the K740 C-Star to the list .
