I had two edges/ends of FG kits I am building become marred (my fault, fumble fingers landed on belt sander a while back). But I was thinking what filler could I use that would be really tough and provide adhesion is such a tight/small spot that is actually precariously open to abuse by the shock cord. Clearly not any kind of Bondo and SuperFil is pretty hard, but I don't know if it would have been durable enough for this application. I thought epoxy mixed with milled FG, and that would have probably worked, but I opted for RocketPoxy. I applied the RocketPoxy at the damaged edge area and wrapped inside/outside with 3M 77 tape (thick clear tape I use for masking). It cured nice and hard and sanded down to shape well--I am very happy!

Great idea Tim- good for fairing in those mis- matches on F/G tubes and nose/tail cones that don't quite match up, too! Thanks.
