Meet Bob.

Bob is smiling because he has just discovered the new JonRocket.com Parachute Kit:

The red-and-white color scheme of the plastic parachute reminds Bob of the multi-gore parachutes used by the Apollo program.

Bob is happy to see that the polyethylene sheet has just the right thickness and smoothness to fold and unfold easily. And, though he can cut along the printed guidelines to choose to craft an 18-inch, 15-inch, or 12-inch parachute, Bob always chooses the largest size.

Bob's new favorite parachutes also include instructions printed on the outside of the sheet, a generous length of quality shroud line, and a half-dozen hole reinforcements.

The new JonRocket.com parachute is now available from ... JonRocket.com.

Note: In the case of recoveries lasting more than four hours, use the convenient, printed guidelines to create a spill hole.

Will they be available in a 'bulk pack' say, 6 or 10?

I think so, but we have to get a little more ahead in the production of them before we can offer them in quantity. But, it shouldn't be too long before we have a sufficient quantity of them.

I like them too! 24" would be cool too

Unfortunately, offering a larger size would have increased the cost of the parachutes too much.

BTW, speaking of cost ... Estes has announced that the list price for their 18" plastic parachute is increasing to $4.99 on April 1st.

BTW ... if you are interested in larger quantities of parachutes, 100 or more, contact Chris (hcmbanjo) at Odd'l Rockets. He has the same parachute design without our logo (which, of course, makes them not nearly as cool). They would be great for those developing kits to sell.

In discreet, unmarked packaging?

I can assure you that no pictures of "Smilin' Bob" will adorn the package.

BTW, we made the offer today because, if we had waited until tomorrow, no one would have believed it!

Just ordered three. Some of the Estes plastic chutes come in not-great-visibility colors...
