For those who haven't seen the information below just yet. Paul Homes announced the certification of four more new Loki Research motors Friday night.
And it's now official. Loki Research has the first ever, certified 38mm K impulse motor! Yea okay, so it's only a 0.0035% K. I'll be sure to improve that a little more with the red load next year. ;-)
There was a small bit of confusion with the naming of the 38/1200 Loki Cocktail.
J-1026-LC will be the official name of this motor.
Unfortunately both of the 38/1200 reloads will be out of stock until I am able to make another batch of Blue propellant. But with the holidays over the next 2 weeks, it's going to be a while before that gets accomplished. Any that had been made have been spoken for already. The new 76mm reloads are available and ready to ship.
Loki Research
Four motors were certified over this period, all in legacy reload cases, two in the 38-1200 case, one in the 76-3600 (Kosdon/AMW 75-3500) case and one in the 76-8000 (Kosdon/AMW 75-7600) case
The J1023CT is a 38-1200 Loki Cocktail reload. This propellant is a violet flame motor produced through a synergy of Loki Blue and Loki Red grains as already certified in the 76-6000 case previously. This 97% Full J motor has a completely flat thrust curve holding The Max Thrust Value (~260 pounds) for 1 seconds with a straight tail-off to zero at 1.2 seconds.

The K1127LB is a 0% K motor in a 38 MM case, that same 38-1200 case. The Thrust curve for this motor is an immediate rise to 290 pounds and a slight progressive rise to 320 pounds at the .75 second point. Then the motor has a straight drop to zero at the 1.24 second point.

The L840CT-PS reload is the new Loki Cocktail load for the 78-3600 Case and is the smaller version of the already certified M1600CT. The thrust curve for this motor is a multi faceted line. It rises to 225 pounds with a progressive rise to 260 pounds at 2 seconds. The curve then drops to 130 pounds near to 4 seconds into the burn. The motor then exhibits some stair-stepping as it goes to zero at the 4.6 second point as individual grains finish in this twin propellant, twin geometry motor.

Finally, Last but not least is the M1969SF-PS. This is a very good Spitfire reload for the 76-8000 case. The motor burned very well with little obvious nozzle loading, however there was a half inch thick Ti cone in the convergence cone at tear down. The Thrust Curve is a near typical Bates style flat curve, with about 500-510 pounds of thrust over 2.8 seconds. The curve then drops to 0 at the 3.7 second point, again with little nozzle Ti loading.
