It's an image link, so there's really no limit. Keep it reasonable please, though, as anything too large affects everyone else.

    "Rotate the pod please HAL!"

It is VERY POSSIBLE that you already covered this and I missed it. That said...

...How do I "rotate" photos I have already uploaded - or that I AM uploading - so their 'orientation' {landscape or portrait} is CORRECT?

    Thanks in advance!!!

I've found that uploading to imgur tends to help. Forums tend to delete the EXIF data on pictures, which includes the orientation. Therefore, it's rather a crapshoot on how the picture gets uploaded. If you upload to something like imgur/photobucket, you can check the orientation.

    Hope this helps.

Don't upload to Photobucket to post here. That was a good idea until a few months ago when they changed their operating procedures and now their members have to pay to post to a 3rd party (forum). So, any photo bucket link will not show, unless you've paid them.

By the way, you can do a direct upload here. Just so the threads don't loose the photos if somewhere else changes their rules later.

After uploading, not much you can do. I go from iPhone to my pc, open in Paint, or your favorite picture program. Rotate left, rotate right, return to your preferred orientation and save. Then upload with confidence to the 'ol forum.

If you don't have a program that edits pictures well, you can download Irfanview for free. It does just about everything that I want to do, including crop, rotate, etc, and it isn't difficult to use. (and, as I said, it's free).

Do the rotated picture problems come from iphone uploads?

I use an android, and haven't had any issues so far. Pretty confused at why people had problems when all my photos "just worked" lol

For me, the rotated photos only happen when I load pics from my iPhone. So I've tried rotating my phone and taking a pic that way. Still no joy. No matter what, an iPhone rotates the pics wonky when you upload them... At least for me, with a direct from the phone upload. But I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night.
